SAN JUAN, P.R. – Rimas Sports, the management agency bringing higher representation to the Latin community in the world of sports, has signed Oswald Peraza, the rising star from the New York Yankees. The announcement comes weeks after Peraza’s recent call-up to the Major League team.
Oswald Peraza, the 23-year-old Venezuelan shortstop, started the 2023 season with the Yankees’ Triple-A affiliate, the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders. Peraza’s performances in the Minor Leagues were spectacular, earning him accolades such as “Best Defensive Infielder” and “Best Infield Arm” by Baseball America. He showcased his formidable power by hammering 14 home runs and delivering 36 RBIs in just 63 games.
With this significant signing, Rimas Sports is poised to further elevate its standing in the sports representation world while staying true to its core mission of promoting diversity and excellence in sports. Recently, the company announced the signing of another exciting Yankee rising star, Everson Pereira, ranked as the No. 3 Prospect in the organization.
