RONNY MAURICIO GETS CALLED UP BY THE NY METS FOR HIGHLY-ANTICIPATED MLB DEBUT

SAN JUAN, PR – The moment NY Mets fans have been waiting for has finally arrived, rising star Ronny Mauricio has been called up by the organization from their AAA affiliate in Syracuse and is heading to Queens to make his long-awaited debut in Major League Baseball. The 22-year-old Dominican star is one of baseball’s top prospects, ranked at #4 in the organization and #91 in the Minor Leagues, per MLB Pipeline.

“It has been an exciting season, one of much growth and sacrifice, and I am happy to see that my efforts are paying off. Since the beginning of the season, Ronny Mauricio has dazzled all and sundry by giving his all on the field and achieving important victories for the team. In a short time, his great performances earned him the great affection of the fans who for months have been asking for the promotion of the young Dominican to the big leagues. This year, the switch-hitter is hitting .303/.373/.586, 131 wRC+ and has connected 23 home runs and 71 RBIs in 116 games.

Prior to this season, Mauricio was awarded the MVP honor at the 2022 Dominican Winter League while playing with the Tigres del Licey.
